Carrasso Signs For 4 Years
By: Jennifer | June 30th, 2009
You can read his first interview with Bordeaux here.
The presser has yet to go online, so no pretty jersey pictures. Carrasso is quite the stud, no?

Great signing, very talented keeper. I think he’s the perfect replacement for Rame.

Good replacement for Rame. I think Bordeaux should sign two defenders(LB, CB) and they are set.

Good signing and a solid start to the rebuilding for next season.

Bordeaux need a RW and CB to be really good

Definitely, I’m thinking more of the LW than the right but It depends if Obertan is read or not.

I hope Gabby is ready too, but seeing as the training date nears and none of our players have sold, I think we should focus on getting those defenders.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
OBERTANNNNN!!! WHY, MOMMY WHY?!!
Jennifer, Would you happen to know what Chamakhs recent comments were? It seems that he is stirring up a bit of commotion with the whole England transfer ordeal. The Ultra’s (supporters) don’t seem to happy with him.
And what is your opinion, do you think he’ll stay or go? recently the media have been saying that he’ll stay but i don’t know about that.

WHAT THE HELL. HOW CAN JLT LET OBERTAN GO FOR ONLY 3M??? Maybe I haven’t been very keen recently on the transfer rumours but this was totally under my radar. Oh Gaby Gaby Gaby. I guess if ManU is really reforming he might have a chance? It makes me sad that he won’t have a chance to play here at Bordeaux, but well, JLT’s decisions…I can’t say he did terrific at Lorient, but it’s not like he shouldn’t get another chance here. Again, we can’t go around selling all our youth players for cheap and spending big. As much as I dislike OL’s money making tactics, they have a good youth system and they are right to keep their youths for longer and selling the bright ones off for more.
@Anicho: I think the Ultra’s are just disappointed that he didn’t keep his word, since he said he’ll stay and then he says that he has to leave. JLT and higher management are obviously barring the leave to Arsenal, but I think they just want to try their best to keep him. Even though they say that they are looking for smaller and “better” clubs that are willing to pay for Chamakh, they’ve rejected opening bids from two smaller clubs already (the Swiss club I can understand). My honest guess is that if they keep trying to prevent him from going, there’ll be a break between Chamakh/his agent and the management and things will get ugly (i.e. not going to training). I think he’ll leave, and if they don’t pick soon it’ll be a desperate decision to go anywhere that’ll pay well. (Like Arsenal……)
