GALATASARAY GUIZE!
By: Jennifer | February 18th, 2009

Group:
Ramé, Valverde – Diawara, Henrique, Jurietti, Planus, Placente, Trémoulinas – Diarra, Ducasse, Fernando, Gourcuff, Wendel, Traoré – Bellion, Cavenaghi, Chamakh, Gouffran, Jussi.
I’m been waiting for this for a loooooong time. Of course our chances don’t look good at all so good , since we’ve been playing terrible quite badly lately. It seems like everyone is out of shape…Cavé (who was deemed operational this morning), Wendel, Gourcuff…and even Chamakh is a little broken at his left knee (way to make him more emo). I’d imagine Fernando’s head is still pretty bad.
What the fans think:
- BORDEAUX: Ramé – Jurietti, Henrique, Diawara, Placente – Fernando (or Traoré), Ducasse (or A. Diarra), Gourcuff, Jussi – Gouffran, Cavenaghi.
- GALATASARAY: De Sanctis – Emre Asik, Servet Cetin, Meira, Volkan Yaman – Ayhan Akman, Lincoln, Sabri Sarioglu, Mehmet Topal, Arda Turan – Baros.
I actually approve pf Gouffran here since everone else is broken. I can’t believe we actually have to resort to starting (probably) Placente. Why is everyone breaking at such an important time?! (But to be fair, at least it’s not Valverde right?)
Hahaha, Baros returns to France. Maybe his “I really suck in France” phase will come back and screw all of Galatasaray. To be honest, the only Galatasaray players I can recognize are Emre Asik, Arda Turan, Meira and Volkan Yaman. Oh and Baros, but sometimes I still think he’s Lyonnais.
Anyway, if you’re going to watch, leave a comment or something. I’m going to try my bestest to catch a stream.
———
In the mean time, Fernando wants to leave Bordeaux at the end of the season. I can agree with him here, he’s been faithfully with Bordeaux for the past 4 years and he deserves an upgrade (or at least a change
). I agree with Julien that it would be nice to let him leave with the title. So back to Italy it is for Fernando (the best guess right now is Genoa. It would be nice to see him with a club with such history.)

Well I guess the journey to Kadikoy starts at the shores of Bordeaux. May the best team win.

0-0? was really boring? I catch the game a little later… I don’t think a draw is a great result at home.

Meh, I suppose the ideal result for Bordeaux at this point time..
But not being able to score at home is a bit disconcerting (but then the circumstances explain the lack of confidence, of course). Hopefully better luck in Turkey, but of course we’re going to be roasted with those fans and what not (I’d imagine they’ll have massive home advantage thanks to that).
You know what’s funny, a Turkish acquaintance of mine was talking about watching the game and he was like “justin.tv is a godsend…have you heard of it?”
I’m shocked anyone haven’t.Posted from

LOL. indeed, indeed…
It’s disappointing; the we should have came out with a win, imho. ASSE is just around the corner, hopefully we will walk out with three points. I’m sure the players understand how important it is to walk away with three point. We can’t afford to lose anymore ground.

Ramé has a pained left knee *face palms*
VALVERDE IN GOAL? I MIGHT DIE. Losing to ASSE will be shameful.Posted from

I didn`t watch the game, and I herd it was a really good match; end to end stuff. Cavegol finally put on in the back of the net which is real moral booster. Maybe now well start to recover some lost ground.
Apparently, we were pretty lucky to leave with a draw, I think this is a good result, ASSE is always a tough team to play even though they`re doing poorly.

Good to hear! Sounds like we’re getting back on track. We’ve lost some ground to Lyon already
-Valverde fractured his nose..
-200th cap for Diarra against ASSE
-Blanc supports Lyon against Barca despite having played for them, and think that you either think that they’re unbeatable and lose, or play and hope to win.
-Bordeaux puts an offer for Matheiu?!?!? (Football365)
-Galatasaray fires coach..Posted from

Galataserey’s manager sacking couldn’t have come at a better time, I think.
Blanc is a great guy, he’ll always foot for the French club…
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to watch tomorrows match but hopefully we leave with the results we need. Gourcuff will be out resting and Jurietti is suspended.

Thank you! No worries, there always next year. We can finally get our freshness back and focus on the League. It’s important that we finish in a CL spot or possibly win L1.
