Well, we were 2nd for about….24 hours. That’s good right?

The game was good! And I actually mean it this time. As usual, the hero was Gourcuff, with a goal and an assist. He actually goes back to do some defending too, and thankfully for that. The defense is so shaky, especially towards the end.

Gouffran though….the inconsistency and the terribleness, match after match. Why does Blanc always start him? In my opinion Obertan is a much better choice. Thankfully, we might have to put up with his performance because Wendel should be returning. I just hope that he did what he said and improved his attitude and his handle on playing. I’m very impressed with Trémoulinas’s performance yesterday. He’s much better than Placente in terms of being able to last, and he has pretty good technique too. I’d like to see Blanc play him more. It might not come as a surprise thatJurietti was my hero of the night. He was everywhere doing so much. I think he also set up Gourcuff’s goal as well.

The goals:

I hope this is a good confidence booster before the game against Cluj on Wednesday. Blanc even took off Gourcuff early to rest him!
